Meet the Team

This is a fast-paced environment where staff commitment and enthusiasm is rewarded. Here's what some members of the team have to say about working with us.

Rhiannon Cambrook-Woods

Rhi is a solicitor and our Managing Director whose fresh approach to law and vibrant personality means that as times change so does our approach to how we deal with our work. Her belief and ethos which is instilled across Lysander Law is to achieve the best possible outcome through practical, technical and strategic advice. Her love of people coupled with the challenges of the ever evolving legal landscape are her passion which is evident from the moment you meet her.

Liz Simon

Liz joined Lysander Law in March 2020, initially as Finance Manager before also taking on operational responsibilities. Liz first started her legal career 10 years ago, working as Practice Manager and Head of Accounts for a multijurisdictional firm in London, where she also gained experience running private offices for ultra-high net worth clients across the UK, France and Germany. Over the years Liz has specialised in the creation of finance departments in new firms, advising on their structure, policies and procedures, having particular regard for compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules. Passionate about training and development, Liz regularly writes and delivers in-house training courses for her teams and the wider business.

Christine Chan

Christine has over 20 years experience exclusively in the Claimant personal injury sector. She acts for claimants who have suffered serious and often life-changing injuries in motorcycle and car accidents. She specialises in brain injury and multiple orthopaedic injury cases, including clients who may not have mental capacity to pursue their claims. Christine has a client-focused and pro-active approach to litigation. She takes up the Rehabilitation Code with Defendant insurers to ensure treatment and adaptations are put in place early on in a case and she negotiates interim payments for clients in order to relieve financial concerns as the claim progresses.

Lisa Cooke

Lisa is an experienced insolvency litigation solicitor, and was listed in the Legal 500 two years running as both a Recommended Lawyer and a Next Generation Lawyer. Lisa acts on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners investigating and pursuing claims for the benefit of the insolvent estate, individuals in receipt of a claim against them by a liquidator or insolvent company as well as companies whose debtors are insolvent and companies that find themselves in financial distress. She has vast experience of conducting all aspects of insolvency litigation from the initial pre-action stages of litigation through to trial, and is also experienced in conducting settlement negotiations and formal mediations on behalf of clients.
